How to use

Enter text on the left. Clean plain text appears on the right immediately.

Paste or type a sentence in the left input area.

Automatic cleanup
Hidden codes, special spaces, control characters, and long dashes are cleaned as you type.

Check yellow marks
Yellow text is kept for review. Check the original, then delete and retype only that part if needed.

Copy the result
Select Copy to use the cleaned text. Reset clears the input.

OddText cleans Unicode characters and text formatting. It does not detect or remove statistical text watermarks such as SynthID Text.

Status reference

Select Cleaned or the lower cleanup details to toggle vivid purple change marks. Yellow Review marks always stay visible.

Display	What it means
Ready	No text has been entered.
Plain text	No automatic cleanup was needed. Any review items are shown separately as Review.
Cleaned N	The number of removals, replacements, or normalizations. Select it to toggle change marks.
Review N	The number of preserved items that need review. Their yellow marks stay visible.
Space N	Special spaces or tabs replaced with a regular space.
Dash N	Long or nonstandard dashes replaced with '-'. An existing '-' is not counted.
Hidden N	Invisible or control characters removed.
Punctuation N	Curved quotes changed to straight quotes, or an ellipsis changed to '...'.
Style N	Unicode style or width forms normalized, or matched formatting markers removed.
Line N	Nonstandard line breaks changed to a regular line break.
Highlight preview limited	All text was processed, but detailed color marks were limited for speed.
Copied as plain text	The cleaned result was copied as plain text.
Selected - press Cmd/Ctrl + C	Automatic copy was blocked. Use the shown keyboard shortcut to copy the selection.
Input limit reached (N)	The maximum input length of 500,000 code units was reached.
N words	Approximate word count. Segmentation can vary by language.
N characters	Count of user-visible character units in the result.
